I am also a columnist for daily and business newspapers, publish articles and papers as a popular-science author, lecturer at universities in various countries, and deliver lectures in multiple languages as a keynote speaker at international congresses and events.
Furthermore, I act as a business and strategy consultant, corporate philosopher, entrepreneurship & start-up evangelist and mentor for founders and start-ups.
Moreover, I support numerous companies as a member or chairman of the advisory board as well as think tanks, such as The RSA 'The Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce' (founded in London in 1754) – as a fellow and ambassador/fellowship connector for Malta and Austria.
There is no great art to success.
The great art is to maintain success!
At some point in time, everyone will come to see that one does not learn much about what is decisive from success or winning. Instead, the failures, mistakes, losses, and defeats make us ultimately grow more in wisdom, humility, modesty, resilience and an invaluable experience. It's inevitable to lose now and again. Still, one should gratefully accept these learning curves of the university of life with just as much dignity as one celebrates successes and victories, for they are the indispensable fertiliser of lasting success in the future. This is how robust, incredibly resilient and long-lasting oaks are created, which hardly anything knocks over anymore!
MULTIPLYING SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS of ambitious people - founders, entrepreneurs, managers, their companies, careers, and projects.
For me, success has to do with fulfilment and with people grabbing their lives, their visions, talents and opportunities, their potential, into their own hands with determination. It's all about enthusiastically following your passion and also prospering economically through smart positioning. It is not always easy and is a permanent challenge. It takes courage, commitment, foresight, perseverance and the willingness to learn and change continually. And also to have a plan B - especially in a crisis when there are lulls, headwinds and lean periods. In the long run: As you sow, so you shall reap.
My motto and background
There is no great art to success. The great art is to maintain success! Because being sustainably successful works according to its own rules and mechanisms.
I truly know the full 360 degrees of entrepreneurial life from my own experience: from times of sunshine with success lasting for many years, with receiving one award after another - whether as 'Best of the Best Management Consultants' in Austria, as 'IT Entrepreneur of the Year', as 'Entrepreneur Shooting Star' - with the best score of all businesses nationwide - to severe storms and hard winters.
Besides, I have proven competencies from around 40 years of business experience with hundreds of my clients' projects - companies of various industries and sizes. My tasks are restructuring, organisation, digitalisation (incl. ERP and AI) and economic and strategic optimisation. My clients are SMEs, start-ups, family businesses, corporate groups and chains. What I do succeeds in almost every industry, because in essence - according to my matured findings - the decisive parameters for sustainable success are universal, i.e. the same for most companies - or at least very similar, only the facets vary.

Excerpts of three quotes from renowned scientists and experts ...
Prof. Dr Arnold Weissman - entrepreneur, family business adviser, owner & founder of the multiple award-winning WeissmanGroup, Professor of business management, specialised in family businesses
Reinhold Karner is one of the most impressive personalities I have met in my entrepreneurial life. His unique career, which took him up to the very top and also down to the bottom, made him the perfect coach and sparring partner, in my view. He has shown what true resilience looks like, and this is something every entrepreneur should learn. Aside from his diverse experiences, it is his network that's truly valuable. There has hardly been an innovative topic for which he did not have the right contacts – most of the time, though, the best connection was himself.
Prof. Dr Kurt Matzler - Adviser, University Professor for Strategy and Leadership (Nominated in 2021 for the Thinkers50, the global Oscars of Management Thinking)
Reinhold Karner is an impressive personality: entrepreneur, adviser, networker and lateral thinker! He specialises like no other in hot technological and business topics of our time. His ability to identify trends and see the bigger picture, coupled with his experience and first-hand knowledge, make him a second to none thinker.
Prof. Dr Martin Adam - Director of Studies for Industrial Engineering & Management, ERP-Systems & Business Process Management, Smart Products & Solutions at the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein Tirol
Reinhold Karner is undoubtedly one of the most distinguished ERP software experts and thought leaders in the digital world. He set numerous technology trends in the ERP world that have become IT standards today. He is a top-rated lecturer with students at our lectures and events.

He has also mastered the art of communication because he always succeeds in explaining each, even complex subject, in clear language and distinguishing the essential from the non-essential.
